One of Europe’s biggest day conference for committed founders, corporates and established investors form all segments of the industry – StartupCon – will be held in Cologne, Germany, on October 11, 2017 for the forth time.
The event will take place at LANXESS arena, one of Cologne’s landmark buildings covering about 80.000 square meters exhibition space. Between 9 a.m. and 7 p.m. participants and visitors will have the chance to expand their professional network and meet investors for new projects. Besides that there will be discussions on future business models and digital transformation.
Once more the organizers of StartupCon will concentrate on a top-class and unique stage event. Investors and founders from all over the world were invited to give authentic insides into their remarkable sucess stories. The aim is to inspire those participating in the conference and to support their visions so that much ideas as possible will materialize. With an annual growth of nearly 300 % this international reknown event makes an important contribution to strengthen the founder scene in Germany. 2017 the organisers expect more than 5.000 visitors.
StartupCity Cologne
Inside the LANXESS arena StartupCity Cologne will take place. Around 500 national and international early stage startups will present their diverse concepts in the areas of mobility, technology, finance, insurance, commerce, life science and life style. Parallel to this event 200 top speakers will give insides into their life as an entrepreneur and will report on most recent developments in the industry. Speakers among others are:
- Klaus Hommels (CEO of Lakestar, one of the first investors of Skype, Spotify and Facebook who received number of awards for his investments)
- Cyriac Roeding (founder of shopkick)
- Damien Declercq (CEO of Local Motors)
- Julian und Hartmut Teicke (founders of WeFox)
Startup Expo
In the visitor center of the arena StartupExpo will be held. Main focus on this section are leading companies and growth startups. More than 100 exhibitors will give full view into their new developments and will discuss promising strategies as well as alliances focussing on digital transformation.
One-on-one pitches, talks, workshops and a hackathon
The 50 vip-boxes of LANXESS arena will be reserved for pitches. Here young founders will have the opportunity to introduce their ideas and business models to more than 300 potential investors. In addition to that the programm will cover 20 table-talks, 30 workshops, 4 vr-cinemas as well as a hackthon. Finally a spectecular drone pakour will complete Europe’s great day conference.
Tickets for the forth edition of StartupCon on October 11, 2017 in Cologne’s LANXESS arena will be available for founders at € 49,00; this will include access to all lectures and workshops.
Investors will pay € 199,00 to participate in all lectures and workshops as well as StartupExpo. Businesses will be able to make use of the complete offers of the event at € 249,00.
