Capscovil Founder Joins Advisory Board Of Smart Mobility Startup NEXT

Press release

Glonn, January 2017

Future mobility will require a new approach for both vehicles and transportation services. Cities are getting larger, more congested and young people focus more on getting from A to B fast for a good price than owning a vehicle. Reducing accidents and death toll on the road, autonomous driving vehicles are bound to hit the roads.

At the Frankfurt auto show in 2015, Capscovil founder Britta Muzyk-Tikovksy had met an Italian designer and innovator with a fascinating concept: Tommaso Gecchelin who invented and designed a future smart mobility and founded NEXT future transportation. This startup’s solution combines autonomous and electric driven modules that can be coupled together on demand to optimize personal and business travel as well as logistics while increasing the overall quality of life in motion in large cities.

Staying in contact since the show, Britta was very pleased to join the advisory board of NEXT future transportation in a strategic marketing role in November 2016. Her two decades-spanning experience in automotive and new business development is set to complement the expertise of her fellow advisory board members. The Capscovil founder is very much looking forward to supporting Tommaso and his co-founders along with the whole team on their path to successfully turning their exciting vision into reality.

The team, after spending 3 months at the Dubai Future Accelerator (Sept-Dec 2016), is currently working with the Roads and Transportation Authority of Dubai on a pilot project to build full scale working units. The pilot is expected to finish with a presentation for vice president and prime minister of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), and Emir of Dubai at the end of June 2017.
